Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern every lesson booking made on breakintojapanese.com. Booking a lesson means accepting them.

1. Who we are

[To be completed] (company name, address, tax identification number, email).

2. The lessons

Japanese lessons by video, one-to-one or in groups of 2 or 3 students on request, taught by native Japanese teachers, for adults, children and companies, at every level. Platforms: Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.

3. The free lesson

Newcomers are entitled to one complimentary 30-minute session, with nothing to buy afterwards, to gauge their level and try the approach.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are those shown on the website when you order, or those in a quote for companies. They are in euros, taxes included, and are paid when ordering or as agreed with the company.

5. How long a plan lasts

Lessons bought in a plan must be used within 12 months of purchase.

6. Moving and cancelling

A lesson can be moved or cancelled free of charge up to 6 hours before it starts. After that, it is due. If we have to cancel, the lesson is rescheduled or refunded.

7. Withdrawal

You can change your mind within 14 days of purchase; sessions you asked to take within that window are not refundable.

8. Refunds

On written request, unused lessons in a plan can be refunded pro rata.

9. Student commitments

Log in on time with a computer or tablet with a microphone, camera and stable connection. An absence not reported 6 hours ahead counts as a lesson taken.

10. Teaching materials

Documents shared during lessons are for personal use only.

11. Disputes

[To be completed] (governing law, courts). An amicable solution is always sought first; you can also use the EU online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
